We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the position of Network Consultant in our Professional Services department. The position will be reporting directly to the Manger - Professional Services. The applicant is expected to demonstrate a combination of high technical and project management skills.



As the job demands high level of technical expertise, the individual will need to have solid networking background on the design, implementation and troubleshooting sides. The individual will assume responsibility for designing and implementing projects in addition to preparing training material and running training courses as needed.

Responsibilities:

The individual has to be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the following tasks:

Ø Provide post and pre sales support for RuggedCom products.

Ø Be a subject matter expert on all RuggedCom products

Ø Prepare and conduct technical presentations adapted for both post and pre sales

Ø Accommodate 50 - 60 % Travel schedule internationally worldwide. (average of one to two weeks trips)

Ø Develop preliminary and detailed Network Design for new projects

Ø Execute on designs including RuggedCom products and multivendor solutions

Ø Optimize an existing network and stage network changes as needed

Ø Provide feedback to management and marketing regarding products and features enhancements based on trends.

Ø Demonstrate very high fault analysis and troubleshooting skills

Ø Perform both project and customer management in different project phases with the ability to multitask

Ø Create technical design documentations

Ø Create technical reports and management reports

Ø Developing training course curriculums, build training material and perform training activities as needed

Ø Respond to RFI's, RFP's and tenders as assigned

Ø Analyze project requirements and be able to transform a requirement to a SOW and estimate the time needed to execute.

Ø Help develop service business opportunities



Requirements:

The individual must be able to demonstrate possessing the following skill:

Ø Strong Networking background with minimum 5 years of Networking experience

Ø Able to manage his own time and tasks with minimal or no supervision

Ø A self starter and able to drive tasks

Ø Solid switching, routing and network security background

Ø Well rounded technical expertise covering industry standard technologies and protocols including but not limited to xDSL, FR, SONET, SDH, ATM, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, Ethernet, TCP/IP, RSTP, MSTP, VLANs, RIP, OSPF, BGP, GRE, IPSEC

Ø Very high analytical skills

Ø Very strong project management and organizational skills

Ø Has successfully designed and implemented network projects of medium to large scale

Ø Expertise preparing training materials and conducting trainings

Ø Very strong interpersonal skills

Ø Very strong presentation skills

Ø Excellent command of English

Special consideration will be given to candidates with the following attributes:

Ø 8 years or more experience providing solutions and technical support/onsite field services

Ø Recent (last 2 years) Cisco or other networking certifications: CCNP, JCNP, CCIE highly desirable

Ø Experience with wireless systems specifically WiFi and WiMAX will be highly regarded

Ø Bilingual candidates with Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian or Russian speaking skills will be highly considered

Ø Holding network security certifications is an added value

Ø Electrical utilities, industrial and/or transportation expertise will be considered a plus

DATA ANALYST , TECHNICAL SUPPORT

A new role is open for BI Technical Support Engineer to work within a Financial organisation in their Business Intelligence Centre department.

•Support the BI development team in their use of the environments (development, test, pre-production & production)
•Take responsibility for the deployment and migration of BI systems and solutions through those environments
•Develop UNIX batch scripts to ensure that new and existing solutions can be executed in an automated manner
•Apply security changes to the environment as required
•Engage with technical support teams and customers in issue identification and resolution
•Work closely with the development and infrastructure support teams to ensure that new and legacy systems are running in accordance with specification
•Provide support in the upgrade of the technical environment
•Provide project support as follows:
- Establishment of Security Access process using filters and security groups to control Relationship Manager access to Cubes
- Deployment of Hyperion over Citrix
- Hyperion Version 11 Upgrade


Skills Required :
•Knowledge of UNIX OS, especially HPUX and/or Sun Solaris

Bilingual Customer Care - Portuguese

This inbound Bilingual Customer Care and Support position is a front line Call Centre role using a computerized information system. The Customer Care Agent provides detailed information and case resolution in client's products and services in English and Portuguese. Reporting to the Corporate Controller you will lead the implementation of accounting procedures as the company expands its operations into Brazil. You will be responsible to train and supervise the Brazilian accounting team. You will set up the Accounting and finance procedures and polices, assist with budgeting and forecasting. You will provide financial analysis of the operation results and report results to the Executive Management team. Manage month end closing and reporting for quarterly reviews and annual audits. Assist in the preparation of all tax filings.

Requirements:
Fluent Portuguese.
Accounting designation – CGA, CMA or CA
Work independently.
Supervisory, team building skills.
Excellent organizational skills to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
Great Plains and Frx would be an asset.
Exposure to IFRS also an asset.
