Role Summary/Purpose

In your role as Collector, you will be responsible for Credit and Collections activities related to a portfolio of GE Energy account receivables within your assigned geographical zone: collection and account resolution with customers of delinquent accounts to provide payment arrangements, customer service, and assistance in resolving customer complaints and problem accounts.
Essential Responsibilities
·Review aging reports and initiate calls to customers to arrange for payment.·Initiate collection calls to major account customers, research and resolve past due issues on complex accounts. ·Forecast cash collections, evaluating and escalating issues to appropriate internal and external contacts. ·Evaluate if credit or debits need to be issued and rationalizes payment plans with customers. ·Perform routine accounting reconciliations, reduce account aging, and establish clear and concise communications with inquiry organization to resolve billing disputes.·Analyze receivables data for customers.·Daily interaction with outside customers, commercial sales organizations, internal management, and functional peers. ·Participate to presentations of account receivables information.·There may be an opportunity to take part in special projects, for those interested in personal / professional development opportunities·Accomplish all your responsibilities in line with GE's compliance and integrity requirements

Microseismic Processor

JOB SUMMARY
The Experienced Microseismic Processor will be responsible for the acquisition, processing and delivery of results for microseismic imaging contracts within the Americas Region. The candidate will act as Project Manager for microseismic jobs and execute the full range of project activities such as pre-survey design, data acquisition, customer liaison, data processing, and report preparation of final results. As the business base expands, the candidate will be expected to train and mentor additional supporting staff and participate in the budgeting process. The job position reports to the Microseismic Operation Manager.


KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Microseismic Processor must have high computer literacy coupled with an engineering or science-based skill-set. Experience in processing of microseismic data acquired in passive monitoring for oil & gas well development operations is required. Experience should include interpretation of micro-seismic data in support of hydraulic fracturing and stimulation with demonstrated skill in tracking fluid movement and fault/structure delineation. Candidates with a strong background in VSP or seismic surface processing may be acceptable. A familiarity with seismic acquisition systems and geomechanics applied to fractured systems would be a plus.
Field Experience: Previous work-history in the field and a demonstrated ability to make independent decisions is required. The successful candidate will direct and participate in microseismic field acquisition surveys conducted from land-based rigs.
Processing Experience: Real-time processing of microseismic data acquired in passive monitoring for oil & gas well development operations is required. Active involvement with professional societies (SEG, EAGE, SPE) is a plus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a minimum of a Batchelor’s Degree in a Geoscience, or applicable Discipline, or equivalent industry experience in lieu of degree: 3+ years experience with BS Degree, 2+ years experience with MS Degree, 1+ years experience with PhD. Experience should include interpretation of micro-seismic data in support of hydraulic fracturing and stimulation with demonstrated skill in tracking fluid movement and fault/structure delineation. We currently have a great opportunity available for an: English to Brazilian Portuguese Language Specialist

Main Duties:
-Translates English subtitles into Brazilian Portuguese and proof-reads Brazilian Portuguese translations
-Transcribes Brazilian Portuguese subtitles from audio
-Performs quality control checks on subtitle files -Responds to translation and procedure-related queries from freelance translators, as well as internal and external clients
-Updates the Brazilian Portuguese language style guidelines and assists in the updating of freelancer procedural manuals
-Works closely with the Training and Feedback department to monitor the Brazilian Portuguese freelance translators with regards to the quality of their work and their adherence to Deluxe Digital Studios procedures and language guidelines. Writes up feedback letters to the freelancers as needed. -Formats subtitling text scripts into subtitle files in accordance to studio specifications for DVD distribution
-Carries out technical processes on subtitle files in order to prepare them for various delivery formats, including interactive BD, DVD for PAL or NTSC, airline formats, etc.

Under the authority of the Departmental Supervisor:
-You will work closely with the Project Coordination department to ensure Brazilian Portuguese subtitle files meet Deluxe Digital Studios’ quality standards, and will assist them in the formulation of project-specific instructions targeting freelance translators
