COMPANY OVERVIEW
Disney Interactive Media Group (DIMG) is a segment of The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) responsible for the creation and delivery of Disney branded interactive entertainment and informational content across multiple platforms including online, mobile and video game consoles around the globe. JOB DESCRIPTION
The Producer, Social Tools is responsible for existing social/community functionality such as Friends List and Chat, as well as developing new functionality to build upon what exists to provide a richer, more engaging experience. The producer is responsible for supporting social media engagement across all Disney Online Studios products including Club Penguin, Pixie Hollow and World of Cars.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure the creative and business needs are satisfied while setting quality standards, and work with all stakeholders to gain buy-in and compliance.
• Coordinate and drive the social tools project while keeping the core business and creative goals front and centre.
• Work with the project management team to create and maintain development schedules, determine project requirements and ensure designs are clearly developed and executed.
• Develop project requirements and functional specifications with stakeholders. Obtain necessary approvals at key steps in the process.
• Communicate and promote project vision to stakeholders and others as required.
• Facilitate the escalation process and the work between development teams.
• Approve presentation materials and demos, objectives, and deliverables.
• Identify and manage third party talent, contractors and developers. Provide feedback and needs to these partners.
• Act as the point person for all project related questions.
• Manage the flow of assets and information between teams and team members.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors of Science degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 professional experience with a social networking company or online company.
• 5+ years experience in games or online media development.
• Experience with project ownership from conception through to delivery with minimal supervision from management.
• Experience playing a variety of children’s online games and using a variety of social networking sites.
• Fluent in English.

• Passionate about kids games. Keeps abreast new gaming trends and game mechanics being adopted by online game developers.
• Self-starter with lots of initiative.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to changing business needs/timelines and completing quality projects on time.
• Follows technological trends in the industry.
• Excellent understanding of project life cycles.
• Expert in social tools and channels and knowledge of new trends and latest in social/mobile innovation.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Investigates and implements new technologies, services and automation capabilities and/or vendor solutions that enhance social media and overall site efforts.
• Must be deadline driven and detail-oriented – a strategic critical thinker who also pays attention to the little things.
• Problem solves and escalates as necessary.
• Understands how to communicate with, work with, and manage workflow for both creative and technical people.
• Inspirational, personable, fun and positive.
• Understands what kids want, how to find out what they want, and cares about delivering a quality and fun product to them.
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
• Able to analyze and apply data to improve results.
• Passionate and committed with a high energy level.
