RESPONSIBILITIES: Due to expansion in our staff, we are actively recruiting Environmental Impact Assessment Professionals in Vancouver. The successful candidates will be experienced professionals with knowledge of the EIA regulatory approval process for the energy and mining industries in Canada. Knowledge/ Experience: 5-10 years experience and a Masters degree in related scientific or engineering discipline. Preference will be given to those with a Mater's degree in a related field Knowledge with EIA regulatory approval process for the energy, infrastructure and mining industries in Canada Strong knowledge of federal and provincial environmental legislation and regulations Consulting experience conducting environmental impact assessments, and environmental effects monitoring Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing valued client service Excellent organizational skills, presentation, public speaking and self motivation Experience in Equator Principle, IFC and World Bank environmental guidelines for international assignments would be considered a strong asset. Spanish, Portuguese or French as a second language is also considered and asset.
