JOB DESCRIPTION
The Producer, Social Tools is responsible for existing social/community functionality such as Friends List and Chat, as well as developing new functionality to build upon what exists to provide a richer, more engaging experience. The producer is responsible for supporting social media engagement across all Disney Online Studios products including Club Penguin, Pixie Hollow and World of Cars.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure the creative and business needs are satisfied while setting quality standards, and work with all stakeholders to gain buy-in and compliance.
• Coordinate and drive the social tools project while keeping the core business and creative goals front and centre.
• Work with the project management team to create and maintain development schedules, determine project requirements and ensure designs are clearly developed and executed.
• Develop project requirements and functional specifications with stakeholders. Obtain necessary approvals at key steps in the process.
• Communicate and promote project vision to stakeholders and others as required.
• Facilitate the escalation process and the work between development teams.
• Approve presentation materials and demos, objectives, and deliverables.
• Identify and manage third party talent, contractors and developers. Provide feedback and needs to these partners.
• Act as the point person for all project related questions.
• Manage the flow of assets and information between teams and team members.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors of Science degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 professional experience with a social networking company or online company.
• 5+ years experience in games or online media development.
• Experience with project ownership from conception through to delivery with minimal supervision from management.
• Experience playing a variety of children’s online games and using a variety of social networking sites.
• Fluent in English.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position belongs to a development team that develops and supports various applications in Scotia Capital, mainly in the Derivatives area. Job Description: This position will work in an international environment, interacting with Finance teams located in the Latin American subsidiaries in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Colombia. Senior Process Engineer

The purpose of this position is to provide process engineering support to the manufacturing function and business development initiatives as part of a Corporate engineering Department. The position is specialized and provides key process engineering leadership and subject matter expertise for this function across the organization. The position reports to the Manager - Process & Project support.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

. Supports/leads the process engineering function to ensure consistency of practices and optimized knowledge sharing.
. Coordinates process data management with respect to structure/systems/applications.
. Provides leadership in mentoring, coaching and developing plant technical personnel.
. Provides technical assistance in the identification, assessment, approval and implementation of significant process improvements, plant expansions and technical innovations at the facility. Identifies, quantifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities.
. Identifies and implements opportunities to optimize production, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and improve plant capacity, reliability, availability and maintainability, while also ensuring excellent safety and environmental performance.
. Provides leadership and detailed process engineering support to both day-to-day operations and to small and large capital projects.
. Troubleshoots difficult operating problems and implements solutions.
. Conducts hazard reviews and coordinates the management of change process and supports implementation and optimization of the Canexus process safety management program.
. Develops and coordinates delivery of practical technical/process training programs to plant personnel

Education / Experience Requirements:

. Chemical Engineering degree; registered (or eligible to be registered) as a P.Eng.
. 10 or more years' engineering experience in a continuous chemical process environment, experience in electrochemical and/or inorganic processing preferred/would be an asset.
. Strong interpersonal and team skills, demonstrated leadership without authority.
. Experience with unit operations such as chemical treatment, filtration, ion exchange, electrolytic cells, crystallization and solids conveying systems.
. Demonstrated technical skills, including troubleshooting, optimization, problem analysis, solution development/design, implementation and follow-up.
. Working knowledge of Process Safety Management elements and Responsible Care codes (e.g. Management of Change, Hazard Analysis and Root Cause Analysis).
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and technical emphasis.
. Strong organizational and project planning skills.
. Computer skills including Microsoft Office and MS Project, experience with Process Information Management Systems desirable.
. Fluent in English. Multilingual skills would be an asset (French, Portuguese, Spanish).
