Construction labourer

Salary: $20.00 to $31.83 Hourly for 40 hours per week, As per collective agreement

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Mississauga, Ontario (1 vacancy)

Skill Requirements:


Education: Not required


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): WHMIS Certificate


Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years


Languages: Speak English


Type of Construction: Residential


Equipment and Machinery Experience: Concrete saws, Mortar and concrete mixers, Grinding machines


Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)


Specific Skills: Load, unload and transport construction materials, Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades, Assist heavy equipment operators


Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding


Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights


Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel regularly


Other Languages: Portuguese


Essential Skills: Working with others, Job task planning and organizing
