Milling machine operator - metal machining (cnc machine operator)

Salary: $12.50 to $14.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Brampton, Ontario (3 vacancies )

Skill Requirements:


Education: Some high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required


Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Custom machine shop


Type of Machine Experience: Computer Numerical Control (CNC)


Type of General Machine Tools: Turret lathes, Milling machines


Type of Special Purpose or Mass Production Machine Tools: Single purpose production machines, Automatic lathes


Type of Repetitive Machining Operation Experience: Turning, Milling


Specific Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)


Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)


Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation


Other Languages: Portuguese
