Salary: $23.00 to $27.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification, Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification


Experience: No experience


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Type of Experience: Trucks


Area of Specialization: Diesel engines, Brake systems, Ignition and electrical systems, Engine repair and overhaul, Truck-trailer repair


Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills: Inspect and test mechanical units, Diagnose faults and malfunctions, Repair and replace mechanical units


Truck Mechanic Specific Skills: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems


Additional Skills: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor


Security and Safety: Criminal record check


Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination


Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation


Other Languages: Portuguese


Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Problem solving
