Liaison Officers - Vietnamese and Portuguese
Established in 1979, Columbia International College is the largest private boarding high school for international students in Canada. With strong emphasis on high academic standards, leadership and discipline, 100% of Columbia's Pre-U graduates have been accepted into universities in Canada and the USA.
We have an immediate opening for both a Portuguese and Vietnamese speaking Liaison Officer. These positions include assisting in the coordination of marketing activities in foreign countries, assisting in the delivery of special programs and summer camp activities for international youth. The candidate will liaise with parents and students by email and telephone. Some translation work is involved. The candidate will also assist in establishing and implementing a strategic marketing plan in target countries and the Portuguese/Vietnamese communities in Canada.
The candidate must:
· Be personable
· Have a high energy level with a strong work ethic
· Have excellent presentation and public speaking skills
· Be proficient in English
· Be fluent in Portuguese (for Portuguese Liaison) or Vietnamese (for Vietnamese Liaison)
· Be proficient in Microsoft Office Portuguese or Vietnamese in addition to the English version
· Have a valid drivers' license
· Travel extensively to either South America or Vietnam, as well as other parts of the world
