Manager of Budgeting and Reporting

altisHR is seeking a senior manager for our clients accounting and finance team. This position is a permanent opportunity and is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

Role and Responsibilities


The manager will be responsible for preparing annual consolidated budgets and forecasts as necessary. In addition, they will be in charge or reporting on the companyâ?Ts results.
Preparation of the companyâ?Ts annual consolidated budgets for management and board approvals
Coordinate and consultant with the companyâ?Ts foreign operations in preparation of their annual budgets
Preparation of revised budgets as required throughout the year
Designing and preparing monthly reports to senior management and to the companyâ?Ts board of directors
Analyzing the companyâ?Ts results as compared to the budget and providing information to senior management
Revising and monitoring the companyâ?Ts cash flow position as compared to budget
The successful candidate MUST:

Have a completed accounting designation
Minimum of 5 years experience (post designation experience)
Advanced skills in Excel computer software
Experience with ACCPAC and Simply Accounting would be as asset
Have experience working for a public company


Preference given to:
Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) candidates
Industry experience in mining would be an asset.
