Animal skinner - meat packing plant

Salary: $11.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Setting: Slaughter houses, Meat processing and packing plants, Poultry processing plants


Type of Equipment: Stunning devices, Knives, Cleavers, Saws, Power cutting tools


Specific Skills: Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses, Slaughter poultry and remove inedible parts, Remove feathers and singe and wash poultry to prepare for further processing or packaging, Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use


Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling


Work Site Environment: Cold/refrigerated


Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle
