Job Description:

Reporting to the Corporate Controller you will lead the implementation of accounting procedures as the company expands its operations into Brazil. You will be responsible to train and supervise the Brazilian accounting team. You will set up the Accounting and finance procedures and polices, assist with budgeting and forecasting. You will provide financial analysis of the operation results and report results to the Executive Management team. Manage month end closing and reporting for quarterly reviews and annual audits. Assist in the preparation of all tax filings.

Fluent Portuguese.
Accounting designation – CGA, CMA or CA
Work independently.
Supervisory, team building skills.
Excellent organizational skills to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
Great Plains and Frx would be an asset.
Exposure to IFRS also an asset.
