Brewery Controller

•Manage day to day financial functions of the Brewery to ensure that management has timely and accurate financial information and advice
•Establish & maintain financial standards, budget and control
•Responsible for completion of all month end financial reporting related to the brewery and its operations
• Assist Operations and Finance in costing and other financial analysis & studies such as capital investment
• Align the Brewery financials to National standards for costs & financial reporting consistency
• Reports financial results on operational Brewery performance
• Supports budget activities to establish and maintain financial accounts for the Brewery
• Provide financial control to the Brewery operations and logistics by monitoring , analyzing and trouble shooting costs
• Assist in capital planning & investment programs
• Maintain and review financial and internal controls for operations
• Deliver Service Level Agreement with Brewery Management
• Operate Account to Report processes to be compliant with the internal control processes
• Support the management of the budgets for the Brewery within each fiscal year
• Retain adequate financial records to support audit inquiries and respond to such inquiries
• Provide on-going technical accounting and finance support to the Brewery
-Manage relationship between Brazilian support team and Brewery control team



Skills
Education:
• University Degree - - Business, Accounting or International relations degree preferred.

Experience:

-Fluency in Portuguese and some French is preferred
- Knowledge of general Accounting Policies
- Proven track record of system optimization in a fast paced environment, preferably in Fast Moving Consumer Packaged Goods
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of oracle financial system and SAP is an asset
- Knowledge of Management Accounting and Variance Analysis
